Bedtime Story Author Rewards
Picking finalists for The Bedtime Stories Project was a nearly impossible task, but the finalists and the recipient of the top author reward are now posted! The five finalists will each receive a pillow from Carpenter Co., the world’s largest producer of comfort cushioning product and the creator of SleepBetter.org.
The top author reward is an illustration of the author’s story by internationally-known artist Bill Nelson!

The Bedtime Stories Project
Thousands of years ago, people told stories around campfires at night. Today, we call these tales "bedtime stories".
Bedtime stories have the magical power to help youngsters wind down and drift off to sleep, and it has been proven that a well rested child is healthier and performs better in school. The bedtime stories tradition is being replaced by TV, video games, and other activities. It is our goal to revive it.

Betty White's SleepBetter Event
Movie and TV star (and recent SNL host!) Betty White is helping us celebrate the bedtime story! At an event in Los Angeles with SleepBetter on May 26, she read from our Sleepy Tales Book and also read the story we selected from your submissions!
