Jewel and the SleepBetter.Dream Bigger Project

Carpenter Co. created the “SleepBetter.DreamBigger” project to draw the connection between getting the rest you need in order to pursue the life you dream about. What better partner in this health education program than Jewel, who has just released her beautiful “Lullaby” CD. She encourages Americans to take care of themselves and to hold on to their dreams, especially in these tough economic times.

There has been terrific response to this initiative from the nation’s media:

-This week, USA Today ran an excerpt from the recently released SleepBetter.Dream Bigger national survey.

-AOL political writer Carl Cannon wrote an indepth piece on the survey which found that Americans are indeed hanging on to their dreams, even during a stressful economic year.

-An Associated Press article on the campaign was picked up all over the country, and television news stories have appeared in more than 20 cities. Not surprisingly, country music web sites have been all over the story, as have home furnishing publications which report on Carpenter’s Sleep Better line and its other products.

Said Dan Schecter, Carpenter’s Vice President for Sales and Marketing: “Year after year, we work hard to help Americans focus on the importance of a good night’s sleep. We think the “SleepBetter.DreamBigger” initiative drives the point home dramatically. After all, if you can’t sleep, you can’t dream. “

I was so excited to learn about this SleepBetter.DreamBigger initiative and would love to be involved and assist in any way that I can.

I currently work as a certified “Dream Manager” assisting and inspiring individuals in the achievement of their dreams and reaching their highest potential. An integral part of the program I facilitate includes “The Rhythm of Life Framework”, which helps people bring balance, energy and passion to all areas of their lives. And a major component of this framework revolves around getting enough sleep to allow our bodies and minds time to recuperate so that we have the energy to pursue those dreams that are most important to us.

    Keep Dreaming!
