Bedtime Stories Project
SleepBetter.org Announces Original Bedtime Story to be Read by Betty White
If you’ve been following The Bedtime Stories Project, you’ll know that one of the more exciting parts of the program is that one of the stories submitted by our visitors will be read aloud by THE Betty White at an event tomorrow (May 26, 2010) in Los Angeles. We have now selected that story! The story to be read is:
Cotton Candy and the Big Mouth Frog by Bonnie H.
We considered a number of factors when selecting the story. We found Bonnie’s Big Mouth Frog story to be a wonderful choice for Ms. White to read.
We’ll be posting video and images from tomorrow’s event, so check back to see Ms. White reading Bonnie’s story!
We encourage you to read, rate, and comment on Cotton Candy and the Big Mouth Frog, and all of the rest of the bedtime story submissions. And, if your story wasn’t selected, or if you have an original story that you haven’t yet submitted, note that The Bedtime Stories Project is NOT over! The project will end on June 30, and at that time we’ll select a story from all of the submissions (whether we received them before *or* after the Betty White event) to be illustrated by internationally-known artist Bill Nelson. The author of the selected story will receive a hand drawn and colored original illustration, and the story and image will be added to the Sleepy Tales Book.
Submit your story to The Bedtime Stories Project!
