Sleepiest Moment #5:

Sleeping on the plane is a great way to pass the time. but apparently it can cause problems when you're a heavy sleeper. Tom Wagner dozed off during his United Express flight, but when the plane stopped for a layover in Houston, no one woke him. He awoke on his own later, only to find himself locked into a cold, dark plane. Fortunately, his cell phone worked and he was able to call his girlfriend. She alerted United, but it still took 30 minutes for a crew to rescue him. (Source: Huffington Post)

Sleepiest Moment #4:

Nearly all of us have overslept at least once, but for most of us it only results in a little embarrassment. If you're a TV celebrity, it will lead to everyone talking. In August, TV weatherman Al Roker slept right through his 6 a.m. show Wake Up with Al on The Weather Channel. Roker made it in for his regular spot on NBC's TODAY Show, where he was ribbed for the entire program. Roker was a good sport, though, tweeting a short video of himself yawning on the set that morning. (Source: USA Today)

Sleepiest Moment #3:

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg made news in January when she fell asleep during President Barack Obama's State of the Union Address. It's not the first time this sort of thing has happened with the 80-year-old judge, either. She's been caught nodding off at several other events, and has even been accused of falling asleep during Supreme Court oral arguments. (Source: Washington Post)

Sleepiest Moment #2:

This sleepy moment actually made people feel better about humanity. When a young man nodded off on the New York subway, his head ended up on his neighbor's shoulder. Despite being a total stranger, the neighbor decided to just let him sleep. The moment went viral after another subway rider took a picture and posted it on the social media site Reddit. The man who offered his shoulder, Isaac Theil, said, "I simply remembered the times my own head would bop on someone’s shoulder because I was so tired after a long day." (Source: Huffington Post)

Sleepiest Moment #1:

Being the spiritual leader of 1.2 billion people has got to be tiring, and Pope Francis, who was recently named Time Magazine's Person of the Year, admits it. In front of an audience of 200,000 in St. Peter's Square, he said he sometimes falls asleep during his nightly prayers. He says, however, that he believes God understands. (Source: Daily Mail)
