Frank Lee (via Twitter): Hey Happy Dan, can you explain why mattress manufacturers put different names on their models for all the different retailers in a market?
What a great question. Selling the same thing under the same name provides little opportunity for differentiation and impacts the competitive nature of the business. So, if you have a structure you simply put on a different cover (or tick), then change the name and you are good to go. That is why I always say ask loads of questions, do your research and remember … buyer beware! So says Happy Dan The Pillow Man!!
Hansie Haier: My chiropractor suggested trying a cervical pillow to support my neck and back despite being asymptomatic. I do, however, have hot flashes, and would love a pillow with cooling technology. Are there any pillows available that combine the two types?
Thanks for the question. There are many types of cervical pillows. It is not clear to me what type of pillow he suggested. Therefore I hesitate to make any kind of recommendation. I am sorry I could not be more help. So says Happy Dan The Pillow Man!!
