Between heavy work loads and growing social lives, most college students value any time that they get to sleep. This is the reason why the majority of college students opt for afternoon rather than early morning classes. Although college students may enjoy the extra pillow time, a new study shows that taking late classes may not be the best option.
Researchers at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York found that students who take early morning classes are more likely to get higher grades. Specifically, the researchers found that later class times meant slightly lower GPA’s and more drinking.
