Hard working people, especially those on Wall Street, take pleasure in a nap. That may not be surprising until you hear that many of them are actually napping while at work.
A recent story in Business Week pointed out that there is an abundance of comments on popular web forum called Wall Street Oasis on how much people actually are sleeping at work. This site had comments on the best places to sleep (bathroom stalls, conference rooms), and even what to do if you get caught sleeping on the job. It does make sense that these Wall Street workers need their mid afternoon nap, since their profession is ranked the 8th most sleep deprived occupation by the Center’s for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Health Interview Survey.
What do you think? Have you ever been known to partake in a work day nap? Let us know in comments!
