Brooke: Does your choice of pillow matter when it comes to sleep?
Thank you for your question. Absolutely — a proper fitted bed pillow can help you sleep better, assuming there isn’t some health issue that is causing you to not sleep well. A proper fitting pillow one that is adjustable will help you be comfortable and will reduce tossing and turning. Toss and turning are known as unnatural awakenings – that means you wake up then have to fall asleep all over again. This kind of thing interrupts your natural sleep cycles – and that is a bad thing! Loretta: I’m waking up every two hours and at time unable to go back to sleep.
Thank you so much for your question. There is truth that having good pillows and a good sleep surface is important to getting a good night’s sleep. Understanding why you are having a tough time staying a sleep is something that you should ask your doctor. We can certainly help make you more comfortable and reduce pressure on sensitive areas of the body but it sounds like there may be something else that requires attention.
