You’ve read here at SleepBetter.org before about the rise of bedbugs in the United States and elsewhere, but now we know in what regions you’re most likely to see them.
Forbes magazine contacted the two largest pest exterminators, Orkin and Terminix, and worked with them to create the list of the most bedbug-infested cities in the U.S. The list was based on the number of calls they receive about bedbugs over the last couple of years.
First on the list was Cincinatti, but that wasn’t the only bad news for residents of Ohio. Two other Buckeye State locales were also in the top 10. Seven of the cities on the list were located in the nation’s “rust belt.”
Rounding out the top five were Chicago, Detroit, New York, and Columbus.
