Sleep Myth Monday: Eight Hours is Best

This is the latest installment of a regular feature here at Sleep Myth Monday, where we bust sleep myths wide open, or verify that they’re true.

Myth or Truth: We should all sleep eight hours per night.


People vary in terms of how much sleep they need.  You need to let your body tell you how much is the proper amount for you. The “normal” range is between six-and-a-half and eight hours, with most people falling toward the top of that range.
