Have you visited the SleepBetter Facebook Page recently? If you haven’t, you’ll find that there are a lot more people there than just a few short weeks ago. This past weekend we crossed a social media tipping point by eclipsing 100,000 fans. More than 35,000 people have “liked” the page since our largest Facebook contest to date, The Gift of Sleep, was launched December 21st, 2011.
“The huge influx of new fans is fantastic and they have already been welcomed into our Facebook community, where discussions and encouragements among members on how to get better sleep occur daily,” said Dan Schecter, senior vice president of consumer products at Carpenter Co. “SleepBetter and Carpenter Co. are committed to a sustained multi-year effort to encourage Americans to get a better night’s sleep, and the buzz on our SleepBetter Facebook page shows the huge demand for useful sleep tips and information.”
The SleepBetter Facebook page is part of a larger online network, which includes this website, the Sweet Dreams e-newsletter and the tweets from @sleep_better.
